We offer shared care (your GP, midwife and Raigmore) during your pregnancy. Your antenatal checks are shared between your GP and midwife. You should attend your GP for your six week postnatal check.

Family Planning.
Our Practice Nurse is available to provide confidential and comprehensive advice on all forms of contraception. Routine checks/repeat prescriptions are carried out by your GP. Coil fittings are by arrangement with Dr Pike and the Practice Nurse. An appointment with Dr Pike is required for contraceptive implants.

Child Health surveillance and Childhood immunisations.
Ardersier:

There is a joint clinic with the Health visitor on alternate Thursday mornings for child health checks, immunisations and developmental assessments.

Immunisations and health checks can be arranged in normal surgery hours. The Health Visitors run a drop in clinic at the Links Centre on a Wednesday afternoon.

Minor surgery.
Dr Pike performs a range of minor surgery at the Nairn Town and County Hospital. Any of the GP’s in our practice may refer you to her. She offers a drop in service for liquid nitrogen for warts at the end of each session. We also offer liquid nitrogen therapy, by appointment on alternate Tuesdays in Ardersier. Please check dates with our reception staff.
